Agricultural Technology Information Centre (ATIC)
This has been established to cater the following important need of the Directorate of Extension Education :
- To provide technical assistance/guidance to the farmers and other related functionaries with the help of Scientists, University Teachers, Extension Workers,
- To expedite the communication system with the farmers by giving replies to the several queries of the farmers over telephone or any mass media coverage,
To provide advisory visit to the farm and farmer
- To provide qualitative seed to the farming community
- To supplement literature on current advances in the Agriculture, Horticulture, Fishery, Animal Husbandry,
- Farm advisory service on analysis of soil sample brought by the farmers and the recommendation thereof.
